Welcome to my blog – my name is Cindi, and I love cooking delicious, EASY & *always* vegan food.
I’m twenty-five, married to the love of my life and I live in British Columbia (45 minutes outside of Vancouver). I married my forever love on October 23, 2017 and yes, he’s vegan too! I have one younger brother, who is also vegan (yay!) and he’s my best friend. We love playing video games, going to the movies, having Harry Potter marathons, playing Trivial Pursuit and working out.
I went vegan on September 2, 2018, shortly after my mom decided to go vegan. I’ve idolized my mom for my entire life, and as soon as she decided to go vegan, I made the connection and my life changed forever. The only thing I regret about veganism is that I didn’t do it sooner. I have never been healthier, more fulfilled and satisfied, or more connected to my core beliefs.
Six months after I went vegan, I started That Canadian Vegan – I felt that there was a gap in the insta-world of veganism, because everyone was posting products that you could only find in the States! I’ve been posting recipes to this blog since March 2, 2018 and recently started a YouTube channel! I love developing recipes, being creative in the kitchen and nourishing my body – all without hurting the precious animals that I love so much!
